Image Validator


I. DESCRIPTION

Image Validator is a GPL CAPTCHA php script to stop spam on any form: comment areas, sign-ups, shopping carts - any area of your website where you fear the evil spammers may target.


II. REQUIREMENTS

1. Apache 1 or 2
2. PHP 4 or 5
3. GD 2 with truetype support


III. INSTALLATION

0. Unpack this package.
1. You may edit _config.php file located in imgval directory.
2. You may copy some TrueType fonts in imgval/fonts directory.
2. Upload or copy imgval directory to browsable directory.
3. Open imgval/index.php in your browser for testing.

  • What is Dragonfly CMS?
    Dragonfly CMS is a powerful, feature-rich, Open Source content management system which was based on PHP-Nuke 6.5 in the "CPG-Nuke CMS" days. We have spent over a year developing Dragonfly CMS, paying close attention to security and reliability. The release of Dragonfly marks yet another exciting milestone in our history.

  • What programming language does Dragonfly use?
    Our software is written in PHP—the fastest programming language spreading the net today, combined with your choice of either MySQL or PostgreSQL (experimental).

  • What does my server require?
    The prefered setup is to have:
    - PHP 4.3 or higher.
    - MySQL 4.0.x
    MySQL 5.x is not supported in versions up to 9.0.6.1
    (MySQL 4.1 and PostgreSQL 7.6 or higher are supported in CVS)
    - Apache 1.3 or higher (other httpd clients are also supported like IIS5/6, Raiden, etc.)
    - GD 2, ImageMagick, netPBM or any other image manipulation software

N/X CMS


N/X Content Management System

N/X WCMS is a free content management system for building websites. N/X WCMS is developed with object oriented php. N/X is free and open source. N/X is release under the GNU General Public License (GPL ).

The N/X WMCS project was setup in 2001 for building websites with complex layout and complex requirements. The initial was set up at the Computer Science Research Center Karlsruhe, Germany. N/X WCMS's key feature is to structure content in an object-oriented way. Objects are build by N/X itself - the editor does not even notice that he is working object oriented. The content is delivered to websites by templates which are written in plain php, xml or flash via xml.

Content is integrated in N/X WCMS with plugins. N/X is configured with content-plugins for text, html-editor, images, flash and pdf. A lot more plugins like image galleries are available or can be developed for you on demand.

Xoops


XOOPS is a program that allows administrators to easily create dynamic websites with great content and many outstanding features. It is an ideal tool for developing small to large dynamic community websites, intra company portals, corporate portals, weblogs and much more. It can be installed on an Internet host with a PHP-capable web server (e.g., Apache) and a database (e.g., MySQL).

XOOPS is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) and is free to use and modify. It is free to redistribute as long as you abide by the distribution terms of the GPL.

What XOOPS stands for
XOOPS is an acronym of eXtensible Object Oriented Portal System. Though started as a portal system, XOOPS is in fact striving steadily on the track of Content Management System. It can serve as a web framework for use by small, medium and large sites.

A lite XOOPS can be used as a personal weblog or journal. For this purpose, you can do a standard install, and use its News module only. For a medium site, you can use modules like News, Forum, Download, Web Links etc to form a community to interact with your members and visitors. For a large site as an enterprise one, you can develop your own modules such as eShop, and use XOOP's uniform user management system to seamlessly integrate your modules with the whole system.

Pronunciation guide
The standard pronunciation of XOOPS should follow English rules, and you should pronounce it as [zoo'ps].
